ExpressCarCab Terms & Conditions

ExpressCarCab provides a platform for ridesharing and carpooling, where Riders can request trips and Drivers can offer rides. We do not provide transportation services ourselves and we are not a carrier. Drivers are independent individuals sharing available seats, and users are responsible for their interactions, agreements, and compliance with laws.

ExpressCarCab is designed for carpooling and cost sharing. Drivers do not offer commercial transportation services and are not required to make a profit. Any contribution requested by a Driver is intended to help cover shared trip costs such as fuel, tolls, parking, and vehicle wear.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• We may require identity verification for Drivers and certain features.

• Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information.
• Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Safety: You are responsible for lawful, safe behavior during trips.
• No misuse: No harassment, fraud, spamming, or attempts to exploit the platform.

Drivers have full discretion to accept or refuse any trip request, at any time, for any lawful reason. Riders may also decline or cancel a requested trip before it begins.

• Drivers may refuse trips that appear unsafe, suspicious, or inconsistent with the request.
• Drivers may set preferences for routes, pickup points, and passenger requirements.
• Drivers may end a trip early if safety is at risk or rules are violated.

You may not:

• Post illegal content or engage in unlawful activity.
• Use the Service for scams, fraud, or misleading representations.
• Transmit harmful code, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service.
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
• Carry prohibited or illegal items during trips.

Payments may be processed by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). By making payments through the Service, you agree to the payment processor's terms. Fees may be non-refundable except where required by law or stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Contributions are intended to share trip costs. Drivers are not required to make a profit. If local laws restrict cost-sharing arrangements, you agree to follow those rules.

ExpressCarCab is a platform. Any agreement is between users. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, legality, safety, or completion of rides.
• User conduct or statements.
• Losses arising from user-to-user interactions.

We may require Drivers to complete verification (including document checks). Verification does not guarantee a user's behavior or performance.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, or created risk for the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpressCarCab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ExpressCarCab and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your transactions, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will update the "Effective date". Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Your use of ExpressCarCab is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
